  • A course of treatments is often recommended for pigmentation, texture and breakout-prone skin. Orinta will advise on the right number and spacing.
  • Plan resurfacing well ahead of important events so your skin has time to settle.
  • Please mention pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent use of isotretinoin (for example Roaccutane), active cold sores or skin infections, recent injectables, and any medication changes. Orinta will check suitability at your consultation.
  • Daily SPF is essential during and after a resurfacing course.

Comfort, downtime and aftercare

You may feel a gentle, tingling warmth during treatment. Afterwards, skin can look slightly pink for a few hours. More active treatments may occasionally cause light dryness or flaking; avoid picking or exfoliating it.
