Question 1

Which facial is right for my skin?

Accepted Answer

If you're unsure, book the complimentary Skin Assessment & Consultation, or go straight to the OR'Si Signature Facial, which is the perfect place to start your skin journey. We'll discuss your current skin concerns, skincare routine, lifestyle and what you would like to improve. Orinta will assess your skin and tailor the treatment accordingly. From there, she can recommend the most suitable treatments, homecare and a longer-term plan to improve your overall skin quality and longevity. You don't need to know what your skin needs before you arrive. That's Orinta's job.

Question 2

Do I need a consultation before booking?

Accepted Answer

You can choose. The complimentary 15-minute Skin Assessment & Consultation is ideal if you'd like advice before committing. If you prefer to book a treatment directly, every new client receives a professional skin consultation as part of their first appointment. We'll discuss your skin history, current skincare routine, concerns, lifestyle, previous treatments and what you would realistically like to achieve. Orinta will assess your skin on the day and make sure your chosen treatment is appropriate before beginning. From there, together you can create a personalised treatment and homecare plan designed around your skin and long-term goals.

Question 3

How do I book?

Accepted Answer

Book online at any time using the Book Now button, which takes you to our secure booking page. You can also message Orinta on WhatsApp or call 07360 208930.

Question 4

Where are you based?

Accepted Answer

Inside Beauty Empire Aesthetic Clinic, 148 Balgores Lane, Gidea Park, Romford RM2 6BP, a short walk from Gidea Park station on the Elizabeth line.

Question 5

Do you offer facials for men?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HydraFacial for Men is a 45-minute facial designed specifically for men's skin.

Question 6

How should I prepare my skin before my facial?

Accepted Answer

To help your skin respond well to your treatment and minimise unnecessary sensitivity: keep your skincare routine gentle, stay well hydrated and continue using SPF daily. Please let Orinta know about any recent aesthetic treatments, new medications or changes to your skin. For 3 to 5 days beforehand, avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, at-home peels and other strong active products, and avoid waxing or other treatments that may sensitise the treatment area. You don't need to arrive completely make-up free: your facial includes a thorough professional cleanse.

Question 7

Can I have a facial if I have Botox, fillers or skin boosters?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Professional facials complement aesthetic treatments beautifully by focusing on the quality, hydration, texture and health of the skin itself. Please tell Orinta when and where you have had Botox, fillers, skin boosters or other aesthetic procedures, and avoid booking your facial too close to your injectable appointment. The appropriate waiting period depends on the procedure and the facial being performed. If you're unsure, contact Orinta before booking for advice on timing.

Question 8

Can I have a facial if my skin is sensitive?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sensitive skin simply needs a more considered approach. Orinta will assess your skin barrier, current sensitivity, the products you are using and any known triggers before selecting your treatment. The focus may be on gentle cleansing, hydration, barrier support and calming the skin rather than intensive exfoliation. If your skin is particularly irritated, inflamed or compromised on the day, the treatment may be adapted or postponed to protect your skin.

Question 9

Can I have a facial before an important event?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Professional facials are a beautiful way to prepare your skin for a special occasion. For an instant glow, hydrating and radiance-focused treatments such as HydraFacial can leave the skin looking fresh, smooth and luminous. Stronger resurfacing or corrective treatments should be planned further in advance to allow your skin time to settle. If you have a wedding, holiday, photoshoot or special occasion coming up, let Orinta know the date and she will recommend the best treatment and timing.

Question 10

What should I do after my facial?

Accepted Answer

Your exact aftercare depends on the treatment you've received, and Orinta will always advise you before you leave. As a general guide: keep your skincare gentle, stay hydrated, use a broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily and follow your personalised homecare advice. Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours; saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and very hot showers for 24 to 48 hours; make-up for 12 to 24 hours; direct sun and tanning (including sunbeds) for at least 48 hours; and retinol, acids, vitamin C and exfoliating scrubs for 3 to 5 days unless advised otherwise. Avoid picking, touching or exfoliating any dryness or flaking that may occur after more active treatments.

Question 11

Will I have downtime after my facial?

Accepted Answer

Most OR'Si facials are designed with minimal or no downtime. You may experience temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity immediately after certain treatments, and more advanced resurfacing treatments may occasionally cause dryness or light flaking afterwards. Avoid scheduling a new or more intensive treatment immediately before an important event. Orinta will always explain what to expect before you begin.

Question 12

When will I see results?

Accepted Answer

Many clients notice a visible difference immediately after their facial: skin can appear smoother, fresher, more hydrated and radiant. Concerns such as uneven texture, congestion, pigmentation and visible signs of ageing generally require consistency rather than a single treatment. The best results come from combining professional treatments with the right homecare and a long-term approach to skin quality and longevity.

Question 13

How often should I have a facial?

Accepted Answer

This depends on your skin condition, concerns and goals. For skin maintenance, approximately every 4 to 6 weeks works beautifully to maintain hydration, radiance and overall skin quality. For specific concerns such as congestion, pigmentation, uneven texture or signs of ageing, Orinta may recommend a structured course of treatments followed by maintenance. You'll decide on the right frequency together, based on what your skin actually needs.

Question 14

What's the difference between HydraFacial, Biologique Recherche and pHformula?

Accepted Answer

HydraFacial is technology-led: it deep-cleanses, extracts and hydrates with no downtime. Biologique Recherche is hands-on and highly personalised, using Parisian formulations and sculpting massage. pHformula is controlled skin resurfacing for concerns such as pigmentation, texture and signs of ageing, with minimal downtime. The OR'Si Signature Facial is Orinta's own hands-on facial, built around face-lifting massage.

Question 15

Do your treatments hurt?

Accepted Answer

No. Most clients find their treatment deeply relaxing. pHformula may create a gentle, tingling warmth, and HydraFacial extraction feels like light suction.
